Any of you playing it on semi-assisted settings?

Sooty and me tried it some days ago and we love it and we cant go back to full assisted mode anymore.

Its a much better and more realistic game now, with no ping pong passing and no missed shots etc.

It feels much more satisfying to score on these settings and makes the amtches more battles like.

Now I`m looking for more people who would like some matches on the Xbox360 with these settings as its quite impossible to get a game online with these setting as almost all play on all assisted mode.

I've not played it in ages but think I had it on semi-assisted. That's on the PS3 of course.

Some stuff is on semi-assisted by default tho.

But we play with following settings:

passing: semi
shooting: semi
lob pass: manual
crossing: semi
through ball: manual

On lob pass and through ball u have either, assisted or manual.
If you play semi-assisted game, it will change to manual then.

I've used these settings since fifa09

passing: full
shooting: semi
lob pass: full
crossing: semi
through ball: full

But I mainly play all manual manager mode which I really enjoy, but some people don't want to play on manual online which I don't play as much now

Passing on full assisted is the online killer and the reason why I dont play it anymore on this settings.
You can basically ping pong pass your way from defense to attack within 5 seconds and then tap the shot button and score.

On semi-passing this is simply not possible and slows the game down and makes it much more real footy like.

Semi-passing and semi-shooting is a must for me now.

I would most proberly use these settings if other people did, unfortunately people like to play the pinpong way like you say, which leaves the advantage to the other player.

Would use your settings all the time if I was playing players like psl'ers

All manual is the holly grail of football games for me and I love it.

If you set a game up on semi settings the other are automatically having the same settings then.

So its not that you play semi and the others auto.

In normal quick matches its on "any" for the settings but if you create a session you can set it to semi and so the game is on semi for both players.

Have to agree, i don't think i could go back to playing assisted again but it basically means it's impossible to get a game as everyone plays assisted. Far more skill involved with manual and it's a real achievement to score, shooting is far nicer too, you can actually score rocket shots.
