There is a new patch out for pes6. You can keep ur database, but u have to use DKZ-Studio, exchange the PES6.Exe-file with the one that is brought with the patch, and u have to delete ur OPT-File (u may just store it somewhere else). Then u can play and enjoy the squads with updated players.

You don't need to use DKZ studio , read on page 2 of that article 6th post. Exactly what I did just replaced an old file with new one and deleted option file. Patch is nice , emblems and stadiums look good.

I'll give it a whirl, how up to date is it?

Good update, played a few games v Akaash last night for first time in a while. We failed but it's still the best PES, atleast until PES10 sorts its button delay, which they wont.

To be fair it is still the most fun footy game and some of us are still playing it. I can understand people being reluctant with it being old and having to install patches etc., but it's not that much hassle.

I dont see any wrong in playing a game I like, and it doesnt matter for how old is it.

If you dont like it, dont play it. Pretty simple.

I for myself like Fifa10 and PES6 and PES10 (offline).

And I see no reason why I shouldnt play all of them.

Its not about to select just 1 prefered game and slag the other(s) off.

Yet I have never said I like pes6. I like playing footy games with people who play fair and not use uber teams. Thats why I played pes6 for longer than I ever wanted.
