The league looks pretty much screwed. The only people on last night were Markey, Eff and UR3 and they were all in evo-league's chat too, which it seems is where all the PES 6 action is these days.

I'll leave the league open and people can play the odd game now and then if they see an opponent online and have the inclination.

The thing is, most of the people who still play the game are now using the Chaka Deemaz and Pliers patch. I haven't installed it myself but after downloading it I got a browser redirect to 7search.com which I suspect came from the crap download site used. I would advise people not to download it via the links on PES6j. I'll upload it somewhere decent later if we decide to use it.

Personally I think we should stick to the ISS patch but if evo-league switch then I guess the few of us from here who still play will have to aswell.

As hardly anyone is playing PES 6 anymore has anyone got any ideas on something we can do to liven up the site and bring back the community?

I don't think there is an obvious solution unfortunately. I don't think we can expect people to get involved long term or even every now and again in a pc game that is in effect 3 + years old. The only solution will be for Konami to finally produce a game that we all like and can play on the pc. Unfortunately that is not very likely. What this means for the community here I really don't know. I wish there was a magic solution but I can't think of one that will suit the majority of us. I definitely miss the banter of playing against you all but we're all spread across so many different platforms and games that its really difficult to see what can be done about it.

I hope someone can come up with something though even if its further down the line.

It's got pretty bad over the past several weeks with hardly anyone posting. I can't really see a solution if nobody wants to play PES 6 anymore and there isn't any other common game to bring us together. Personally I still enjoy PES 6 but can't play as much as I used to.

Evo-league was in a similar place not too long ago but they seem to have pulled it around and now have a fair few people regularly in their chat room.

I think an answer could lie in Mouse's chat program. If it could use the pes6j server with Mottymouth and a tourney bot it could be pretty cool and be a central place for all PES 6 dudes to hang out and play tourneys like the good old days.

We also need to post more news. If anyone sees any good stories about PES or football gaming in general stick it up in the news section.
