TRANSFER GOSSIP

Boca Juniors' Argentine midfielder Juan Riquelme claims he has turned down an offer to join Newcastle. (Daily Mirror)

Manchester United are interested in signing £5m-rated Brazilian striker Walter, 19, who plays for Sport Club Internacional. (Daily Mirror)

United are also keen on signing Udinese's 20-year-old Chilean forward Alexi Sanchez. (Daily Mail)
