TRANSFER GOSSIP

Arsenal forward Robin van Persie has hinted he wants to stay at the club, despite his failure to agree to a new deal. (Daily Mirror)

Striker Djibril Cisse wants to make his loan deal at Sunderland a permanent switch from Marseille but is unhappy that a decision has yet to be made on his future. (Various)

Reading are set to re-sign Dave Kitson on loan - only seven months after they sold him to Stoke for £5.5m. (Various)
