I think a lot of what he says is fair enough to be honest, he's not passionate about football but earns a good living from it and at least he admits that.

That's why it is a good idea to have a few players who come from where the team is based or supported them as a kid. They will usually be more passionate and it can rub off on the other players. I would class Mascherano as a bit of a mercenary but he does put a lot of effort in and is clearly passionate about winning. I'm sure he would be off without a thought if Barca came in for him though.

Surely the worst of them all is Tevez . They should be paid a basic wage with a bonus if they play , score , clean sheet etc
