TRANSFER RUMOURS

Arsene Wenger wants to buy West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green. The £6m-rated stopper is fed up with consistently being overlooked by England boss Steve McClaren and wants to boost his chances of an international call-up with a move to the Emirates. (The Sun)

Wenger is also stepping up his pursuit of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso, although reports in Portugal suggest Manchester United have first option on his transfer. (Daily Mail)

Dynamo Kiev are plotting a loan bid to take Chelsea's Andriy Shevchenko back to the club where he made his name. (Daily Mirror)
