Season 2 Roundup

1st Division
After a relatively disappointing first season, Markey stormed to the title this second season. Solving his scoring problems, the most impressive result was a 3-0 rout of pre-season favourite Akaash, who must be bitterly disappointed with a 3rd place in his debut season at the top. After starting so well against Pig, he really struggled. Pig went a 2nd season without victory, but his performances warranted more than he deserved, and was unlucky to go down due to Eiriks final day victory over Akaash. Which shows the magic of such a short league; going into that final game Eirik, the previous seasons winner, was staring relegation in the face; credit has to go to the former champ for rising above the pressure to secure 2nd.

2nd Division
Poor TheTud; now had 6 games in the Quad Leagues with just 1 goal scored, and 1 point earned. But this was a strong division once more, with Sooty winning it in the final game of the season with a strong 3-1 victory over Skybluearmy. In fact, going into that final game each result would have resulted in a different winner; either sky or soot win and they got promoted, a draw would have meant themoonrat promoted; thrilling stuff.

3rd Division
With Pilling still moving house, it became an even shorter division, but a successful one for Effendi. Our loveable Kraut cruised to 2 good victories to avenge the disappointment of last season. Rule-X shouldn't have packed his 4th Division bags, as he's heading straight back down there!

4th Division
Another shorterned division with Ronaldinosa's lack of activity, it proved to be the closest of all divisions. What it lacked in goals (just 2) it made up for in drama. Mouses return to Pro Evo resulted in 2 defeats and no goals scored. Welcome back Mouse! But at the top was where the drama occured; after a tight 0-0 in regular season it became apparant that a tie-breaker would be needed to seperate these 2 teams. A Liverpool on Liverpool encounter set the scene for another tense tight game, 1-1 after normal time... remaining that way after extra time. Even the regular 5 penalties each couldn't seperate these guys, but unfortunately someone had to lose, and it was Biff who had to come to terms with no immediate return to 3rd Division, with Anfield Scouse coming through 7-6.

5th Division
Disappointed that not all the games got played here, but to be honest none more needed to be played. Each player took on Hyena. Each player got their asses spanked by Hyena. 10 goals scored, 0 conceeded; there is no doubt Hyena will be one to watch as he attempts to rise through the ranks.

Just a side note about my penalty shoot out with AS. On three occasions I dived the right way but he still scored. Just had to get that of my chest!
