Dont care who im playing with, as i have played with nearly all peeps in here. Most of all I played with Soot,Cele and Sky, but i would play with Biffta also if he is remembering passing lol. Did play with Tud vs an Evo team and won the 3rd match after 2 draws.

Good stuff wp all and congrats to PSL. Really enjoyed playing in these games, was a bit of an edge to them. If we do it again there are quite a few things we need to iron out like doing the pairing up and team selection a day or two before the tourney, also if both teams could be in the same chat room as the communication was a bit ropey and also maybe all playing on the pes6j server as there were some connectivity issues some not using ham, some not having goalserver etc. Other than that though was good stuff, evo lads seem like a good bunch of peeps.

Is this the thing that uses a central server? Where can you download it?

When I'm not on IRC, type in !pes6j into the channel, and it gives you instructions. It's not something you download and host; it's just a central server like Konami's was.

It did take 3 hours instead of the 90mins scheduled, but we got there in the end! I think in principle everyone liked the idea and enjoyed most of the games once they were in, it was just all the kerfuffle around that. So if we do this again

(1) All use pes6j server. One central place to play, no messing with hamachi or any of that crap. Right now the black screen bug cripples it's usefulness and quickness, so we can't do another until that is fixed

(2) We pick the teams before we start. Not necessarily which members, as we don't know exactly who will turn up, but the teams via catagories. Got quite annoying with the politeness of "oh I'll wait til x decides which team and which catagory". If the teams are set, people will take a fancy to them. Maybe we do a completely random draw for both sides as to what side we use for each catagory of games to save time?

(3) Less 2v2, more 1v1. At least for the next series. They're really a 1v1 lot, so were at a disadvantage when 2v2ing coz we play that lots. Maybe reverse it, so it becomes 6x 1v1s with 4x 2v2s. If people can think of any other formats let me know

(4) Each 2v2 game will be a 2legged 5min game affair. Play the first game; if everyone agrees its lag free they can carry on with the same host for the 2nd leg; but if there is lag, for the 2nd game a member of the other team gets to host. That makes it a bit fairer.
